The objective of this drill is to improve your control when receiving the ball. You will need one ball, one cone and a way of rebounding the ball (a rebounder/wall, a friend or a parent).
Use a way of manipulating the ball on either side of the cone and punch the ball into the rebounder. As it comes back to you use different parts of the foot and different feet to control the ball.
Your first touch is key, try to kill the ball then shift the ball to the other side of the cone, try to move the ball to the other side of the cone with the first touch (touch direction) and use skills to shift the ball.
Make it harder by punching the ball in harder to the re-bounder which will increase the speed with which you receive the ball.
