The objective of this drill is to work on your first touch and then your accuracy of passing.
You will need a partner (parent/guardian or friend) eight cones and one football.
Create two boxes out of cones at a distance you feel comfortable with. Each player is inside a cone box. One player starts by passing the ball to the other player inside the opposing box. The receiving player must control the ball with her first touch and then pass it back to the other player with her second touch. Once comfortable with this part of the drill use the first touch to push the ball outside the box and pass it back to your opponent in the box.
Make a game out of this by making it the best of 5, winning a point if your opponents’ touch doesn’t take them outside the box or they need more than two touches.
Make it harder by moving the boxes further apart. Or using a chipped pass as suggested in the video.
