The objectives of this drill are to improve dribbling, first touch and change of direction.
You will need a partner for this drill, one ball and eight cones.
The player dribbles through the cones before passing it into her partner. Her partner then picks the ball up and throws it into the player at different heights and at different paces. The player must control the ball using different parts of her foot and different feet but in the direction of the coloured cone, her partner has nominated.
Make it harder by using different feet, increasing the pace and by making the throw back to the player more varied.
