The objective of this drill is to improve your close dribbling but then to transition into longer dribbling into space with a change of direction.
You will need one ball, nine cones and a way of rebounding the ball.
Start by dribbling quickly to the close cones and weave in and out of the cones after the last cone drive out to the right-hand outer cone before changing direction and circling around the other outer cones before dribbling quickly to the start and punching the ball into the rebounder. Scan before receiving the ball back and then repeat.
Make it harder by adding pace, use your weaker foot, use different parts of the foot to dribble, manipulate the ball in and out of the cones and drive out to the left using your weaker foot.
