Cori Daniels - Technical Director and UEFA 'A' Designate

I’m Cori Daniels and I am the Technical Director at She Plays Football. I have been coaching girls and women at the highest level for over 10 years.

As a player, I started my career at Charlton Athletic before playing at the highest level with Arsenal FC where I won the league, FA Cup and the European Cup. After experiencing such great success as a player, I wanted to do everything I could to ensure future female players have the opportunities that I had.

I have been fortunate enough to have been coached by some of the best coaches in the country, the experience and knowledge I was able to take from them as a player has been invaluable in my transition into coaching. I know how much of an impact a coach can have on a players development and that’s why it’s something I am so passionate about, ensuring each player I work with reaches their full potential.

Since hanging up my boots I have been coaching at the Gillingham Regional Talent Centre and then becoming the Technical Director at the academy and First Team Coach at London City Lionesses in the FA Women’s Championship.

I’m really excited about the launch of She Plays Football and the support and knowledge this will offer to the future female players and coaches
